Joshua Moshier has recently recorded his score for the upcoming Netflix original movie Happy Anniversary. The film marks the feature directorial debut of screenwriter Jared Stern (The LEGO Batman Movie, The Internship) and stars Noel Wells, Ben Schwartz, Annie Potts, Joe Pantoliano and Rahul Kohli. The movie centers on a couple at a relationship crossroads who must decide whether to stay together or calls it quits. David Choi’s ‘Little More Time’ from ‘Gook’ Released

David Choi has released his original song Little More Time from Justin Chon’s indie drama Gook. The track, which is featured at the end of the movie, is now available to download on Amazon and iTunes. Gook is written and directed by Chon who also stars in the movie alongside Simone Baker, David So, Curtiss Cook Jr., Sang Chon, Omono Okojie, Ben Munoz, Cesar Garcia, Isaiah Jarel and Kirlew Vilbon. The movie follows two Korean American brothers who run their late father’s shoe store in a predominantly African American community of Los Angeles and strike up a friendship with an 11-year-old African American girl while racial tensions build to a breaking point as the 1992 Los Angeles riots break out. John Debney Joins ‘The Orville’ Music Team

John Debney has joined the music team of Fox’s upcoming comedy drama The Orville and will score multiple episodes of the show created by Seth MacFarlane (Ted, Family Guy) who also stars in the series alongside Adrianne Palicki, Mark Jackson, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J Lee, Halston Sage and Penny Johnson. As previously reported, Bruce Broughton has already scored the pilot episode and composed the show’s theme (click here to listen to the track) and Joel McNeely (A Million Ways to Die in the West) is also scoring several episodes. La-La Land Records has announced the details of its latest soundtrack releases, including a new soundtrack for Universal Pictures’ 1995 action adventure Waterworld directed by Kevin Reynolds and starring Kevin Costner, Dennis Hopper and Jeanne Tripplehorn. The album features the expanded and remastered score from the movie composed by James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, he Sixth Sense, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, King Kong), including the previously unreleased music and the movie’s original composer Mark Isham’s Music Box Theme . Soundtrack Album for NBC’s ‘This Is Us’ to Be Released

Universal Music will release a soundtrack album for the NBC hit drama This Is Us. The album features a selection of songs from the series by Paul Simon, Sufjan Stevens, Stevie Wonder, Wilco, Cat Stevens, Nick Drake, Ringo Starr & more, as well as Mandy Moore’s cover of Little Feat’s Willin‘. Also included is the original song We Can Always Come Back To This performed by Brian Tyree Henry and written by the show’s composer Siddhartha Khosla & singer/songwriter Chris Pierce, a suite from Khosla’s original score from the show, as well as two tracks from the composer’s band Goldspot.
