Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the action adventure Jumanji: The Next Level directed by Jake Kasdan and starromh Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Danny Glover and Danny DeVito. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Wreck-It-Ralph). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Click here for the full album details.

Also opening wide is the drama Richard Jewell directed by Clint Eastwood starring Paul Walter Hauser, Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm and Olivia Wilde. Arturo Sandoval (The Mule, For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story, At Middleton) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album is expected to be released. ‘Mr. Robot’ Volume 7 Soundtrack Album Released

Lakeshore Records has released a new soundtrack album for the USA original series Mr. Robot. The album features selection of the original music from the first six episodes of the show’s fourth and final season composed composed by Mac Quayle (American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, Pose) who received an Emmy Award for his music from Season 1 in 2016. The Volume 7 soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released six soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s music from the first three seasons of the show. Emile Mosseri Scoring Lee Isaac Chung’s ‘Minari’

Emile Mosseri has recently recorded his score for the upcoming indie drama Minari. The film is written and directed by Lee Isaac Chung and stars Steven Yeun, Han Yeri, Youn Yuh Jung, Will Patton, Alan Kim and Noel Kate Cho. The movie follows a 7-year-old Korean-American boy who gets his life turned upside down when his father decides to move their family to rural Arkansas and start a farm in the mid-1980s. ‘The Mandalorian’ Chapter 6 Soundtrack Released

Walt Disney Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series The Mandalorian. The album features the original music from the sixth episode of the show composer by Academy Award winner Ludwig Goransson (Black Panther, Creed, Venom, Community, Tenet). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio clips. The label has previously released soundtracks for the series’ first five chapters over the last couple of weeks. The Mandalorian is written and executive produced by Jon Favreau and stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Emily Swallow, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. DreamWorks has released the original song Chasing Legacy from the Netflix animated series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers. The track is written by Alex Geringas & William J. Fuller, produced by Timbaland, Angel Lopez & Federico Vindver and performed by Shaylin Becton and Tha Vil. The song is now available to stream/download on Amazon. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Code 8. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ryan Taubert (American Exit, Score: A Film Music Documentary). The full details of the soundtrack album for the film adaptation of the stage musical Cats have been revealed. The album features the film’s music composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber (Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar) and performed by cast members including James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson, Francesca Hayward, Robbie Fairchild and Taylor Swift. Also included is the original song Beautiful Ghosts written by Webber & Swift, which is already available as a digital single.
