Premiering today is the AMC original series Parish based on the UK series The Driver created by Danny Brocklehurst & Jim Poyser and starring Giancarlo Esposito, Zackary Momoh, Paula Malcomson, Skeet Ulrich, Ivan Mbakop, Bonnie Mbuli, Arica Himmel, Dax Rey and Bradley Whitford. The show’s original music is composed by JimiJame$ & Wow Jones. The 6-part crime thriller, follows a family man and proud owner of a luxury car service in New Orleans who – after his son is violently murdered – reunites with an old friend from his days as a wheelman and sends him on a collision course with a violent criminal syndicate, will air Sundays on AMC and will also be available to stream on AMC+.
Premiering tomorrow, April 1, is the HBO original documentary series The Synanon Fix directed by Rory Kennedy, executive produced by Nancy Abrahams, Lisa Heller & Mark Bailey about the rise and fall of the Synanon organization. Six contemporary artists have contributed cover versions for the new BBC drama This Town. Celeste has recorded a new version of the Richard Rodgers- & Lorenz Hart-penned Blue Moon, Gregory Porter has covered Charles Bradley’s The World (Is Going Up In Flames), Olivia Dean has contributed a yet-to-be revealed cover, Ray Laurél has recorded a cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow (from The Wizard of Oz), Sekou has contributed a cover of Jimmy Cliff’s Wonderful World, Beautiful People and Self Esteem has covered Cliff’s You Can Get It If You Really Want. Les Films du Clan has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Paternel. The album features the film’s original music composed by Björn Gottschall and Damien Tronchot (aka Pavane). Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series Fallout. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Eternals, Uncharted, House of the Dragon, Clash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 8 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Fallout is developed by Geneva Robertson-Dworet & Graham Wagner based on the popular video game series and stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Michael Emerson, Frances Turner, Sarita Choudhury, Leslie Uggams, Johnny Pemberton, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Rodrigo Luzzi and Annabel O’Hagan. The film’s original music is composed by Tom Holkenborg (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Sonic the Hedgehog, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Alita: Battle Angel) and Antonio Di Iorio.
