Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary Shark Whisperer. The album features the film’s original music composed by Roger Goula (Next Goal Wins, The Frankenstein Chronicles, All That Breathes, Killers Anonymous, Tiger House, Identicals) & Sam Thompson (007: Road to a Million, Britain and the Blitz, JFK: One Day in America). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 30 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British adventure series Nautilus developed by Xavier Marchand & Anand Tucker inspired by Jules Verne’s classic novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and starring Shazad Latif, Georgia Flood, Céline Menville and Thierry Fremont. The show’s original music is composed by Nainita Desai (The Deepest Breath, For Sama, Secrets of the Penguins, The Tower, Crossfire, Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, The Reason I Jump, Funny Woman). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the premiered in the UK on Prime Video. Premiering on Wednesday, July 2, is the action comedy Heads of State directed by Ilya Naishuller and starring Idris Elba, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle and Paddy Considine. The record features themes by Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Star Trek, The Incredibles, Ratatouille), re-recorded and re-imagined (in the style known as Exotica) by himself.
