Decca Records France has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Legendaries (Les Légendaire). The album features the film’s original score written by French singer, harpist and composer Cécile Corbel (The Secret World of Arrietty, Land of the Bears) and Simon Caby. Also included is the original song La chanson des Légendaires performed by Corbel. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. A CD version is also being released overseas and will be available to order as an import on Amazon within the next couple of days. Hollywood Records has released the cover version of the Arcade Fire song My Body Is a Cage from the third season of the Hulu original series Tell Me Lies. Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1980s classic animated TV series DuckTales produced by Walt Disney Television Animation and starring Alan Young, Russi Taylor, Chuck McCann, Frank Welker, Terry McGovern, Hal Smith and Joan Gerber. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed and conducted by Ron Jones (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Family Guy, American Dad!, Superman). Also included is the theme song written by Mark Mueller and arranged by Jones. Composer Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Kpop Demon Hunters, Wonder, May December, Emancipation, The Good Shepherd, The Affair, Nonnas, Ray Donovan) is reteaming with director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer) on the upcoming documentary Troublemaker. The film is produced and directed by Fuqua and centers on the struggle against apartheid as recounted through Nelson Mandela’s own voice, drawn from recordings he made while writing his autobiography Long Walk to Freedom.
