WaterTower Music will release the first soundtrack album for the CW superhero drama Batwoman. The album features selections of the original music from the first season of the show composed by Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Greyhound, The Flight Attendant) & Sherri Chung (Riverdale, Blindspot, The Lost Husband). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 26 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other digital music services. Season 1 of Batwoman is developed by Caroline Dries based on the DC Comics characters and stars Ruby Rose, Meagan Tandy, Rachel Skarsten, Camrus Johnson, Nicole Kang, Elizabeth Anwei and Dougray Scott. Air-Edel Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Canadian thriller Violation. The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrea Boccadoro (Astrologaster). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 26, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Violation is directed by Madeleine Sims-Fewer & Dusty Mancinelli and stars Sims-Fewer herself, Anna Maguire, Jesse LaVercombe and Obi Abili. The movie follows a woman on the edge of divorce who returns to her hometown to seek solace in the comfort of her younger sister and brother-in-law. The show is developed by Steve & Jim Armogida (School of Rock) based on the classic 80s sitcom and stars Soleil Moon Frye and Cherie Johnson who reprise their roles from the original series. They are joined by new cast members Freddie Prinze Jr., Quinn Copeland, Noah Cottrell, Oliver De Los Santos and Lauren Lindsey Donzis. The comedy follows Punky, who is now a single mother of three, as she is trying to get her life back on track when she meets a young girl in the foster system who reminds her a lot of her younger self. Silva Screen Records has announced the details of the full soundtrack album for the BBC Earth documentary Meerkat: A Dynasties Special. The album features the original music from the special composed by Benji Merrison (SAS: Red Notice, Strange Magic) and Will Slater (One Strange Rock, Africa, Planet Earth Live) who previously scored the original 2018 Dynasties series. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 26 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. The label has previously released a 4-track EP featuring four score suites written by the composers last year. Meerkat: A Dynasties Special is produced and directed by Emma Napper, narrated by Sir David Attenborough follows the young meerkat queen Maghogho and her family battling to survive in hostile environment, during a drought.
