Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross & Jon Batiste have received their first SCL Award in the Outstanding Original Score in a Studio Film category for their music for Pixar’s Soul at tonight’s 2nd Annual Society of Composers & Lyricists Awards. The other composers nominated in the category were James Newton Howard (News of the World), Ludwig Göransson (Tenet), Terence Blanchard (Da 5 Bloods) and Reznor & Ross were also nominated for their score for Mank. In the Outstanding Original Song for Visual Media category, Savan Kotecha, Fat Max Gsus & Rickard Goransson were honored for their song Husavik from the Netflix film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. The film is written and directed by Rockaway and stars Harvey Keitel, Sam Worthington, AnnaSophia Robb, Jackie Cruz, Minka Kelly, John Magaro, David Cade, David James Elliot and Alon Aboutboul.
