The full details of the soundtrack album for the Hulu limited series We Were the Lucky Ones have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Rachel Portman (Emma, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat, The Manchurian Candidate, Never Let Me Go) and Jon Ehrlich (House, The Resident, Parenthood, Life, About a Boy, Invasion). Robert Ouyang Rusli Scoring HBO’s ‘Fantasmas’
Composer Robert Ouyang Rusli (aka OHYUNG) (Test Pattern, Bruiser, Photgrapher) is reteaming with Julio Torres on the upcoming HBO original series Fantasmas. The show created, directed, written by and starring Torres tells the tale of when he lost a golden oyster. The comedy follows Torres as he navigates a dreamlike New York and encounters a group of strange characters while searching for the item. Torres is also executive producing the project with Emma Stone & Dave McCary (The Curse, I Saw the TV Glow) for Fruit Tree, Alex Bach (Scare Me, Rosy) and Daniel Powell (Life & Beth, Inside Amy Schumer) for Irony Point, as well as Olivia Gerke for 3 Arts.
Soundtrack Album for BBC’s ‘Mammals’ Announced
Chromium Music Group has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC nature documentary series Mammals. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Thomas Farnon (Our Planet, Super Eagles ’96, Fight the Power). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, May 10 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The 6-part drama is inspired by the true story of Lale Sokolov who arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1942 and was made one of the tattooists, charged to ink identification numbers onto fellow prisoners’ arms, when he meets a woman, leading to a love that defies the horrors around them.

The show is developed by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Big Little Lies, The Practice) based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Scott Turow (which has previously been adapted into the 1990 feature scored by John Williams) and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, Chase Infiniti, O-T Fagbenle, Elizabeth Marvel, Renate Reinsve, Nana Mensah, Peter Sarsgaard and Kingston Rumi Southwick.
