Full Moon Rising: The Charles Band Story is directed by Sarah Appleton and chronicles the life and career of Charles Band, producer/director of such genre classics as Re-Animator, Puppetmaster, From Beyond, Trancers and Evil Bong. ’28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ Soundtrack Vinyl Edition Announced
Mutant has announced a vinyl edition of the soundtrack album for the post-apocalyptic horror movie 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple directed by Nia DaCosta, written by Alex Garland and starring Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman and Chi Lewis-Parry. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hildur Guđnadóttir (Joker, Chernobyl, Tar, Women Talking, A Haunting in Venice, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, The Bride!, Hedda). The limited vinyl edition will be released this fall and now available for pre-order on Amazon. Milan Records has previously released the digital version this past January.
‘No Place for Football’ Soundtrack Released
Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the sports documentary No Place For Football. The album features the film’s original score composed by Joe Bridges and Mike MacLennan (Eyriki, Crazy Cat Lady). Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Dog Man, Early Man, Reminders of Him. ‘Howard Shore – A Piano Tribute’ Album Announced
Warner Classics has announced Howard Shore – A Piano Tribute, an album crafted by Dimitri Soudoplatoff featuring new arrangements of classic film scores by the Academy Award-winning composer performed by pianist Aurélien Pontier, joined by violinist Nemanja Radulovic, soprano Natalie Dessay, and other guests. Shore himself was directly involved in the production. Among the titles included are pieces from the composer’s scores from Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey & The Desolation of Smaug, Martin Scorsese’s Hugo & The Departed, David Cronenberg’s The Fly, Crash & Eastern Promises, David Fincher’s Seven & The Game, Tim Burton’s Ed Wood, among others. The album will be released (coinciding with Shore’s 80th birthday) digitally on October 16 and on CD a few weeks later and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The full details of the soundtrack album for the crime thriller The Rivals of Amziah King have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Erick Alexander & Jared Bulmer (The Vast of Night) and Ben Hardesty who wrote several original songs. T Bone Burnett, Blake Neely and Michael Alexander serve as the project’s music producers.
