The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Ford v. Ferrari, A Quiet Place, World War Z) & Brandon Roberts (The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Underwater). Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score next month. Also opening wide and also premiering on Disney+ as a Premium Access title is the animated feature Raya and the Last Drago directed by Don Hall & Carlos López Estrada and featuring the voices of Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Daniel Dae Kim, Gemma Chan, Sandra Oh, Benedict Wong, Thalia Tran, Alan Tudyk, Izaac Wang and Ross Butler. James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, The Sixth Sense, King Kong, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Maleficent) has composed the film’s original score. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the drama My Salinger Year written and directed by Philippe Falardeau and starring Margaret Qualley,, Sigourney Weaver, Douglas Booth, Seána Kerslake, Colm Feore and Bryan F. O’Byrne. Martin Leon (The Good Lie, Monsieur Lazhar) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a wide-eyed aspiring writer who lands a dream job as assistant to the iconic old-world literary agent representing J.D. Salinger, premiered at last year’s Berlin Film Festival and is being distributed in the U.S. by IFC Films.
Opening on VOD today is the horror thriller Dreamcatcher written and directed by Jacob Johnston and starring Niki Koss, Zachary Gordon, Travis Burns, Olivia Sui, Blaine Kern III, Emrhys Cooper, Elizabeth Posey, Adrienne Wilkinson, Nazanin Mandi and Lou Ferrigno Jr. The film’s original music is composed by Alexander Taylor (Scream, Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street, Arkansas, Animal Among Us). 1984 Publishing has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
