Premiering on Friday, October 19, is the animated movie Gnome Alone directed by Peter Lepeniotis and featuring the voices of Becky G, Josh Peck, Olivia Holt and George Lopez. The film’s original score is composed by Fall Out Boy member Patrick Stump who also co-wrote an original song for the project. Also premiering on Friday in the U.S. is the British comedy Wanderlust created by Nick Payne and starring Toni Collette, Steven Mackintosh and Zawe Ashton. The show doesn’t feature an original score. Iain Cooke serves as the project’s music supervisor. The series revolves around a therapist and her husband who decide to start dating other people after many years of marriage. The comedy premiered last month on BBC One in the UK and is making its U.S. debut exclusively on Netflix.
Another show premiering on Friday is the Netflix limited series Best.Worst.Weekend.Ever created by Robin Stein & Daniel Bryan Franklin and starring Sam Ashe Arnold, Cole Sand, Brianna Reed,Brittany Garms, Rachel Gage, Cleo Fraser, Eddie Leavy and Tiffany Espensen.
