Ludwig Goransson has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller Death Wish. The film is directed by Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel, The Green Inferno) and stars Bruce Willis, Mike Epps, Vincent D’Onofrio, Dean Norris, Kimberly Elise, Elisabeth Shue and Camila Morrone. The movie is a remake of the 1974 feature starring Charles Bronson & and the 1972 novel of the same title by Brian Garfileld and follows a mild-mannered father who is transformed into a killing machine after his family is torn apart by a violent act. Roger Birnbaum (The Magnificent Seven, The Vow, While You Were Sleeping) is producing the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) production. Goransson previously scored Creed for MGM. Death Wish is currently in post-production and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. No word yet on a release date.
