Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album for the Japanese drama Night Flower. The album features the film’s original score composed by Yohei Kobayashi (Matching, A Stitch of Life). Also included is a track by Japanese pianist/composer Hayato Sumino. Night Flower is written and directed by Eiji Uchida and stars Keiko Kitagawa, Misato Morita, Daisuke Sakuma, Ryuta Shibuya and Kiyohiko Shibukawa. The movie follows a struggling single mother who begins selling drugs to support her children, entering a dangerous world in the process. The drama just premiered this week at the 2025 Tokyo Film Festival and will be released in Japanese theaters on November 28. No word yet on a domestic release.
