Premiering tomorrow, March 30 is the PBS documentary Henry David Thoreau directed by Erik Ewers & Christopher Loren Ewers, executive produced by Ken Burns & Don Henley, narrated by George Clooney and featuring the voices of Jeff Goldblum, Meryl Streep, Ted Danson and Tate Donovan. The 2-part film’s original music is composed by David Cieri (The Vietnam War, Hemingway, Oklahoma City, The Roosevelts: An Intimate History). Ropeadope will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score tomorrow. Premiering on Tuesday, March 31, is the National Geographic documentary series Secrets of the Bees hosted and narrated by Bertie Gregory, produced by Alastair Fothergill, Huw Cordey & Nadége Laici and executive produced by James Cameron & Maria Wilhelm. David Mitcham (Secret Lives of Orangutans, The Elephant, the Emperor and the Butterfly Tree, Dancing with the Birds, Wonder of Song, The Last Orangutan Eden) has composed the show’s original music. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Premiering on Friday, April 3, is the comedy Pizza Movie written and directed by Brian McElhaney & Nick Kocher and starring Gaten Matarazzo, Sean Giambrone, Lulu Wilson, Jack Martin, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Marcus Scribner, Miguel-Andres Garcia, Sarah Sherman, Caleb Hearon and Justin Cooley. The film’s original music is composed by Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Twisted Metal, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Obliterated, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man). Also premiering on Friday is the documentary The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson directed by Marina Zenovich and produced by Evan Hayes about the murder of cyclist Moriah Wilson. Marco Beltrami (Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, Logan, A Quiet Place, Ford v. Ferrari, The Hurt Locker, The Wolverine, I, Robot, World War Z, Hellboy, Snowpiercer) has composed the film’s original music.
