Theodore Shapiro has won his second Emmy Award for his score for the episode Cold Harbor from the second season of the Apple TV+ original series Severance in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category at tonight’s first night of the 77th Creative Prime Emmy Awards. He previously won his first Emmy for his music from Season 1 back in 2022 and was also nominated for his main title theme. Mick Giacchino received his first Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special category for his score from the episode After Hours of the HBO series The Penguin. Cristobal Tapia de Veer has won his fourth Emmy Award for his theme for the third season of HBO”s The White Lotus in the Outstanding Main Title Theme Music category. He previously won two Emmys for his score and theme from Season 1 and received his third Emmy for this score from Season 2.

In the Outstanding Music and Lyrics cateogory, Christopher Lennertz won his first Emmy Award for the song Let’s Put the Christ Back in Christmas from the episode We’ll Keep The Red Flag Flying Here of the fourth season of Prime Video’s The Boys. Gabe Hilfer won his second Emmy in the Music Supervision category for the episode The Promotion from the Apple TV+ original series The Studio.
