Opening semi-wide in a couple of hundred theaters is the crime thriller Americana written and directed by Tony Tost and stars Sydney Sweeney, Paul Walter Hauser, Halsey, Eric Dane, Zahn McClarnon, Simon Rex, Toby Huss, Gavin Maddox Bergman, Derek Hinkey and Harriet Sansom Harris. David Fleming (Superman, The Last of Us, Damsel, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Hillbilly Elegy, Blue Planet II, The Unforgivable) has composed the film’s original score. A soundtrack album is expected to be released in the coming weeks by Lakeshore Records. Rue Jacob Records has released a soundtrack EP featuring the composer’s score, as well as Garlitsky’s cover of Nirvana’s My Girl this past May when the movie opened in France.
