Composer Anton Sanko (Rabbit Hole, Big LoveThe Possession, Ouija, The Half of It) is reuniting with director Brad Anderson (The Machinist, The Call) on the upcoming crime thriller The Silent Hour. The film is directed by Anderson and stars Joel Kinnaman, Sandra Mae Frank, Mekhi Phifer and Mark Strong. The movie revolves around a Boston Detective who – after a career-altering injury that leaves him with permanent hearing loss – returns to duty when he gets tasked with interpreting for a deaf witness to a brutal gang murder. Dan Hall wrote the screenplay. Eric Paquette is producing the AGC Studios, Orogen Entertainment and Meridian Pictures production. Sanko has previously scored Anderson’s 2019 feature, Fractured. The Silent Hour will be released in select theaters and on VOD on October 11, 2024 by Republic Pictures.
