The movie, which takes place during ive television broadcast in 1977 that goes horribly wrong, unleashing evil into the nation’s living rooms, premiered at last year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released by IFC Films.
Opening in New York today before expanding to more U.S. markets over the next couple of weeks is the British thriller Femme written and directed by Sam H. Freeman & Ng Choon Ping and starring Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, George Mackay, Asha Reid and John McCrea. Adam Janota Bzowski (Saint Maud, Out of Darkness, The Marsh King’s Daughter, Here Before, Black Mirror: Loch Henry)has composed the film’s original music.
