Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the crime thriller Sleeping Dogs. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee David Hirschfelder (Shine, Elizabeth, Australia, The Railway Man, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, Sliding Doors, Sanctum). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 22 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Listen to the composer’s end credits tracks below. Sleeping Dogs is co-written and directed by Adam Cooper and stars Russell Crowe, Karen Gillan, Márton Csókás, Thomas M. Wright, Harry Greenwood and Tommy Flanagan. The movie is based on the novel The Book of Mirrors by E.O. Chirovici and follows an ex-homicide detective with a fractured memory who is forced to revisit a case he can’t remember and must piece together the evidence from a decade-old murder investigation. The thriller is being released in select theaters this weekend by The Avenue.
