Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson have won their first Emmy Award for their score for The Roku Channel original movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie, or Special category at today’s first night of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. Cristobal Tapia de Veer has picked up his third Emmy Award for his music from the Season 2 episode In the Sandbox from HBO’s The White Lotus in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category and Danny Elfman won the Emmy in the Original Main Title Theme Music category for Netflix’s Wednesday.
Ed Sheeran, Foy Vance & Max Martin were honored with the Emmy in the Music & Lyrics category for the song A Beautiful Game from Season 3 finale of Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso. Gabe Hilfer won his first Emmy in the Music Supervision category for the episode Bull Elephants from the second season of the HBO original series The White Lotus.
