Premiering on Tuesday, October 25, is the Netflix anthology series Cabinet of Curiosities created by Guillermo del Toro. Tim Davies (Maya and the Three), Jeff Danna (Onward), Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3), Daniele Luppi (Magic City), Michael Yezerski (Blindspotting), Anne Chmelewsky (Where Hands Touch), Daniel Lopatin (Good Time) and Jed Kurzel (Alien: Covenant) have composed the score for the eight episodes and Holly Amber Church (Open 24 Hours) has written the main title and prologue music. Also premiering on Tuesday is the fantasy adventure Blade of the 47 Ronin directed by Ron Yuan and starring Anna Akana, Mark Dacascos, Dustin Nguyen, Akira Koieyama, Chris Pang and Mike Moh. The film’s original score is composed by Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn and Alec Puro (Black Summer, The Art of Getting By, All Nighter). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the score and songs (by BlvckNeon, Maddie The Baddie, Simon Morel, Ian Valentine & others) this past Friday. Premiering on Wednesday, October 26, is Lucasfilm’s animated anthology series Tales of the Jedi created by Dave Filoni and starring Ashley Eckstein & Corey Burton as Ahsoka Tano & Count Dooku. Kevin Kiner (Star Wars: The Bad Batch, The Clone Wars & Rebels, CSI: Miami, Making a Murderer, Narcos: Mexico, Hell on Wheels) has composed the show’s original music. Premiering on Friday, October 28, is the British Amazon original series The Devil’s Hour created by Tom Moran and starring Jessica Raine, Peter Capaldi, Nikesh Patel and Phil Dunster. The show’s original music is composed by The Newton Brothers (The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep, Midnight Mass, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, The Midnight Club, The First Purge). The 6-part psychological thriller, which revolves around a woman who is woken every night by terrifying visions at exactly 3.33am, will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video.
Also premiering on Friday is the horror thriller Run Sweetheart Run co-written and directed by Shana Feste and starring Ella Balinska, Pilou Asbæk, Clark Gregg, Dayo Okeniyi, Aml Ameen and Shohreh Aghdashloo. The film’s original music is composed by Rob (Maniac, Revenge, Gretel & Hansel, Troy: Fall of a City, Horns).
