SMP has released a soundtrack album for the Jordanian thriller The Alleys (Al Harra). The album features the film’s original music composed by Nasser Sharaf. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Alleys is written and directed by Bassel Ghandour and stars Emad Azmi, Baraka Rahmani, Munther Rayahnah, Nadira Omran and Maisa Abd Elhadi. The movie is set in East Amman and follows a hustler who passes himself off as a regular businessman, trying to scam enough money to legitimize his relationship with his secret lover. The crime thriller premiered at last year’s Locarno and BFI London Film Festivals and was released in Jordan this past summer. No word yet on a domestic release.
