Premiering on Thursday, September 1, is the Amazon original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power developed by J.D. Payne & Patrick McKay. The show’s original score is composed by Bear McCreary (Outlander, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead). Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings) has contributed the main title theme. Amazon Content Services has released a first soundtrack album featuring over two hours of McCreary’s score and Shore’s themes and more music from each episode will be coming out weekly over the next couple of weeks.
