The film’s original music is composed by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe. Waxwork Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score in various formats today. Opening semi-wide in around 250 theaters is the British comedy drama Together directed by Stephen Daldry and starring James McAvoy and Sharon Horgan. Paul Englishby (An Education, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Sunshine on Leith, Luther, The Musketeers) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie centers on two partners who are forced to re-evaluate themselves and their relationship through the reality of lockdown. The dramedy premiered in the UK this past June on BBC Two and is being released theatrically in the U.S. by Bleecker Street.
Also opening in a few hundred theaters is the Mexican feature Un rescate de huevitos written and directed by Gabriel & Rodolfo Riva Palacio Alatriste and starring Bruno Bichir, Maite Perroni, Angelica Vale and Jesus Ochoa. The film’s original music is composed by Zacarias M. de la Riva (Automata, The Kill Team, Tad the Lost Explorer, Below Zero, Bent). Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the crime drama No Man of God directed by Amber Sealey and starring Elijah Wood, Luke Kirby, Aleksa Palladino and Robert Patrick. Clarice Jensen (Identifying Features, Ainu Mosir) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been released. The movie, which tells the true story of the complicated relationship between FBI agent Bill Hagmaier and serial killer Ted Bundy in the years leading to Bundy’s execution, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and is being released by RLJE Films.
Also opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the comedy American Sausage Standoff (Gutterbee) written and directed by Ulrich Thomsen and starring Antony Starr, Ewen Bremner, W. Earl Brown and Joshua Harto. The the film’s original music is composed by George Kallis (Cliffs of Freedom, Highlander: The Source, After We Fell, The Last Warrior, The Black Prince). Cinematic Soundscapes will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score tomorrow, August 28.
