Lili Haydn (DriverX, Broken Kingdom, The House That Jack Built, Somewhere Between) has recently scored the new Netflix original documentary Strip Down, Rise Up. The film is directed by Michèle Ohayon (Colors Straight Up, Cowboy del Amor) and focuses on a diverse and vibrant group of women who heal their trauma and body image issues through sensual movement and the art of pole dancing. The movie follows women of all walks of life, all ages and ethnic backgrounds, as they shed trauma, shame, body image, sexual abuse and other issues locked in their bodies, and embark on a journey to reclaim themselves. Ohayon is also producing the project. Strip Down, Rise Up will premiere on February 5, 2021 exclusively on Netflix.
Haydn’s other recent projects include Freida Lee Mock’s documentary RUTH – Justice Ginsburg In Her Own Words, which and will be released in (virtual) theaters on February 12 before coming out on VOD on March 9.
