Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the family comedy The War with Grandpa directed by Tim Hill and starring Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman, Oakes Fegley, Christopher Walken, Rob Riggle, Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour. The film’s original score is composed by Aaron Zigman (The NotebookBridge to TerabithiaThe Proposal, John Q, Sex and the City: The Movie). No word on a soundtrack release. Also opening nationwide is the music-themed drama Yellow Rose co-written and directed by Diane Paragas and starring Eva Noblezada, Salonga, Princess Punzalan, Watson, Gustavo Gomez, Libby Villari and Liam Booth.  Christopher H. Knight (Echo Park) has composed the film’s original score and  Paragas and Dale Watson have composed the movie’s original songs today. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs performed by the drama’s cast. Opening in limited release today is the horror thriller The Wolf of Snow Hollow written and directed by Jim Cummings and starring Cummings himself, Rikki Lindhome, Robert Forster, Jimmy Tatro and Chloe East. The film’s original music is composed by Ben Lovett (The Signal, The Night House, The RitualThe WindSynchronicity, Black Rock). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening on VOD today is the animated feature Henchmen written and directed by Adam Wood and starring Thomas Middleditch, James Marsden, Rosario Dawson, Alfred Molina, Nathan Fillion, Will Sasso, Rob Riggle, Craig Robinson, Jane Krakowski and Bobcat Goldthwait. Toby Chu (Bao, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, Unforgettable, Covert Affairs, Burn Notice) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. Opening in virtual theaters today is the documentary Mighty Ira directed by Nico Perrino, Aaron Reese & Chris Maltby about former leader of the American Civil Liberties Union Ira Glasser. Scott McRae & Ryan Rapsys (Little Pink HouseCan We Take a Joke?) have composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score was released last month.
