Premiering tonight is the new CW drama Batwoman developed by Caroline Dries & Greg Berlanti based on the DC Comics characters and starring Ruby Rose, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Nicole Kang, Rachel Skarsten, Dougray Scott and Elizabeth Anweis. The show’s original music is composed by Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl) & Sherri Chung (Riverdale, Blindspot). Also premiering tonight is the British mini-series Press created by Mike Bartlett and starring Charlotte Riley, Ben Chaplin, Priyanga Burford and David Suchet. The series aired last year in the UK on BBC and is making its U.S. debut tonight on PBS as part of its Masterpiece series. Premiering tomorrow, October 7, is the Adult Swim original series Primal created by Genndy Tartakovsky. Premiering on Wednesday, October 9, is the CW drama Nancy Drew based on Edward Stratemeyer’s book series of the same title and starring Kennedy McMann, Scott Wolf, Alex Saxon, Leah Lewis, Maddison Jaizani, Tunji Kasim, Riley Smith and Alvina August. Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Runaways, The Royals, Looking for Alaska) and Jeff Garber (Rel) are composing the show’s original music. Premiering on Friday, October 11, is the Netflix original series Fractured directed by Brad Anderson and starring Sam Worthington, Lily Rabe, Stephen Tobolowsky, Adjoa Andoh and Lucy Capri. The film’s original music is composed by Anton Sanko (Rabbit HoleThe ObsessionOuijaBig Love). Also premiering on Friday is Nickelodeon’s revival of Are You Afraid of the Dark? written by BenDavid Grabinski, directed by Dean Israelite and starring Rafael Casal, Lyliana Wray, Sam Ashe Arnold, Miya Cech and Jeremy Ray Taylor. Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Only the Brave) & Jason Lazarus (Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans) have composed the original music for the 3-parter, which will air on the next three Friday nights on Nickelodeon.

Premiering on Friday on Hulu following a one-night-only theatrical showing on Tuesday, October 8, is the zombie comedy Little Monsters written and directed by Abe Forsythe and starring Lupita Nyong’o, Alexander England and Josh Gad. The film’s original music is composed by Piers Burbrook de Vere (Down Under). The comedy, which follows a musician who teams up with a teacher and a kids show personality to protect young children from a sudden outbreak of zombies, premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is being co-released by Neon and Hulu.
