Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Suicide Squad, Fury) is currently scoring the upcoming period adventure drama Aeronauts. The film is directed by Tom Harper (Wild Rose, War & Peace) and stars Felicity Jones, Eddie Redmayne, Tom Courtenay, Anne Reid, Rebecca Front, Vincent Perez, Tim McInnerny, Phoebe Fox and Himesh Patel. The movie is set in 1862 and tells the story of a wealthy young widow and an ambitious scientist who mount a perilous hot-air balloon expedition to fly higher than anyone in history. Jack Thorne (Wonder, The Last Panthers) wrote the screenplay. Harper is also producing the project with Todd Lieberman & David Hoberman (Beauty and the Beast, The Fighter, The Proposal) for Mandeville Films. Aeronauts will be released in IMAX theaters on October 25, 2019 before expanding nationwide in other theaters on November 1.
As previously reported, Price also has the Disneynature documentary Dolphin Reef coming up. The movie is set to premiere this November on Disney’s new streaming service Disney+.
