Marco Beltrami (Logan3:10 to YumaScreamThe WolverineWorld War Z) & Miles Hankins (Len and Company, Being Serena) have recently composed the original score for the upcoming comedy Flarsky. The film is directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50, The Wackness) and stars Seth Rogen, Charlize Theron, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Alexander Skarsgård, Randall Park, Bob Odenkirk and Andy Serkis. The movie follows a down on his luck journalist, who through a string of comedic circumstances catches the attention of the world’s most powerful woman and becomes an important part of her inner circle in her journey to become the first female president of the United States. Dan Sterling (The Interview) wrote the screenplay. Rogen, Evan Goldberg & James Weaver (This Is the End, Neighbors) are producing the project for Point Grey Pictures, alongside Theron, Beth Kono & A.J. Dix (Atomic Blonde, Tully) for Delilah Films. Beltrami and Hankins have previously co-scored Levine’s 2015 feature The Night Before and Beltrami also co-composed the music for the director’s Warm Bodies with Buck Sanders. Flarsky is set to be released on June 7, 2019 by Lionsgate.

As previously reported, Beltrami also the thriller Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, the drama The Emperor of Paris (co-scored with Marcus Trumpp) and the thriller Underwater (co-scored with Brandon Roberts) coming up.
