Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross are set to compose the music for the upcoming thriller The Woman in the Window. The film is directed by Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Darkest Hour) and stars Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, Julianne Moore, Wyatt Russell, Anthony Mackie and Brian Tyree Henry. The movie is based on A.J. Finn’s bestseller of the same title and follows an agoraphobic child psychologist who witnesses a crime while spying on her neighbors, leaving her to determine whether to alert the police. Tracy Letts (August: Osage County, Killer Joe) wrote the screenplay. Scott Rudin (No Country for Old Men, The Grand Budapest Hotel) and Eli Bush (Lady Bird, Eighth Grade) are producing the project. Wright has previously collaborated with composer Dario Marianelli on all of his movies, except 2001’s Hanna, which was scored by The Chemical Brothers. Reznor & Ross have previously scored the Rudin-produced The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Jonah Hill’s Mid90s, which is currently playing in theaters nationwide. The Woman in the Window is set to be released on October 4, 2019 by 20th Century Fox. (Variety)

As previously reported, Reznor & Ross also have the HBO original series Watchmen, Susanne Bier’s Netflix original movie Bird Box and Trey Edward Shults’ Waves coming up.
