Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album for the animated movie The Steam Engines of Oz. The album features the film’s original music composed by George Streicher (Howard Lovecraft and the Frozen Kingdom). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Steam Engines of Oz is directed by and features the voices of Ron Perlman, William Shatner and Julianne Hough. The movie is set a century after Dorothy Gale first clicked her heels together and follows a young engineer who joins forces with the Scarecrow, a not-so-cowardly lion and some industrious Munchkins to find the Tin Man’s heart before he destroys their world by industry and mechanization.
