The composer duo of tomandandy is scoring the upcoming horror thriller Haunt. The film is written and directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods (Nightlight, screenwriters of A Quiet Place) and stars Katie Stevens, Will Brittain, Lauryn Alisa McClain, Andrew Caldwell, Shazi Raja and Schuyler Helford. The movie takes place on Halloween and follows a group of friends as they encounter an “extreme” haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. Todd Garner (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Into the Storm, Next) is producing the project with Mark Fasano, Ankur Rungta & Vishal Rungta and Eli Roth (Hostel, Death Wish, Cabin Fever). Haunt is expected to premiere later this year.

The composers whose previous credits include The Strangers, 47 Meters Down, The Mothman Prophecies and Resident Evil: Afterlife & Retribution are also reteaming with Roger Avary on the upcoming crime thriller Lucky Day. The film is written and directed by Avary and stars Crispin Glover, Nina Dobrev, Luke Bracey, Michael Madsen, Clé Bennett, Nadia Fares, David Hewlett, Tomer Sisley and Josie Ho. The movie follows an ex-con on parole who sets off to reunite with his wife and daughter and gets hunted down by a psychopathic hit-man looking to avenge his dead brother. Samuel Hadida (True Romance, Silent Hill) is producing the project. The composers have previously scored Avary’s Killing Zoe, The Rules of Attraction, as well as the upcoming French drama La voix humaine. No word yet on a release date for Lucky Day.
