Rob Simonsen & Duncan Blickenstaff are composing the original score for the new ABC comedy Alex, Inc. The show is developed by Matt Tarses and stars Zach Braff, Michael Imperioli, Tiya Sircar, Hillary Anne Matthews, Elisha Henig and Audyssie James. The series follows a successful radio producer as he navigates the crazy world of start-ups while trying to keep his marriage to his public defender wife and family a priority. Tarses is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios production with John Davis (Predator, I, Robot) & John Fox (The Blacklist, Timeless), Alex Blumberg, Chris Gilberti & Matt Lieber, as well as Braff (Scrubs, Garden State) who also directed the pilot episode. Simonsen has previously scored Braff’s last two features, Wish I Was Here and Going In Style. Alex, Inc. will premiere next Wednesday, March 28, 2018 on ABC. Simonsen whose recent project, Love, Simon is currently playing in theaters also has Jason Reitman’s Tully, Rupert Wyatt’s Captive State, Neil Burger’s The Upside and Julia Hart’s Fast Color coming up. Blickenstaff who has previously contributed additional music to several scores by Simonsen is also scoring the Fox comedy LA to Vegas, which currently airs every Tuesday night.
