Stephen Rennicks (Room, Frank, Rebellion) has composed the music for the upcoming indie comedy Birthmarked. The film is directed by Emanuel Hoss-Desmarais (Whitewash) and stars Toni Collette, Matthew Goode, Michael Smiley, Fionnula Flanagan and Suzanne Clément. The movie follows two respected scientists who decide to quit their jobs to raise three very different children and to prove that everyone has the same potential to become anything they choose. Marc Tulin wrote the screenplay based on a story by himself and Hoss-Desmarais. Pierre Even (The Colony, C.R.A.Z.Y., War Witch) is producing the project. Birthmarked will be released in select theaters and on VOD on March 30 by Vertical Entertainment.
