Joan As Police Woman and Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman) and have recently composed the original music for the upcoming romantic comedy drama Permission. The film is written and directed by Brian Crano and stars Rebecca Hall, Dan Stevens, Gina Gershon, Francois Arnaud, Morgan Spector, Bridget Everett, David Joseph Craig, Sarah Steele and Jason Sudeikis. The movie revolves around a woman on the brink of a marriage proposal who is told by a friend that she should date other men before spending the rest of her life with her boyfriend. Margot Hand (Tumbledown, Meadowland) is producing the project with Hall, Giri Tharan (The Good Neighbor) and Joshua Thurston. The project marks the feature scoring debut of both Bartlett and Joan As Police Woman. Permission is expected to premiere later this year.
