Ryeland Allison is composing the score for the new Netflix original series The Ranch. The show is created by Don Reo & Jim Patterson (Two and a Half Men) and stars Ashton Kutcher, Sam Elliott, Danny Masterson, Debra Winger and Elisha Cuthbert. The comedy follows a Colorado rancher who returns home after a brief and failed semi-pro football career to run the family ranching business with his older brother and father, whom he hasn’t seen in 15 years. Reo, Patterson and Kutcher are also executive producing the with Jane Wiseman & Blair Fetter (BoJack Horseman) and Andy Weil. Allison is best known for his collaborations as an additional music composer, music programmer and drummer on numerous scores by Hans Zimmer, including Man of Steel, Inception, Sherlock Holmes, Frost/Nixon, The Simpsons Movie and Drop Zone. He also worked together witch such composers as James Newton Howard, Harry Gregson-Williams and John Powell. The first 10-episodes season of The Ranch will premiere on April 1, 2016 on Netflix.
