Some Kind of Beautiful, Ruth and Alex…is this David Newman’s new career, scoring VoD romances? Don’t get me wrong; it’s a nice change from brain-meltingly bad ‘comedy’ sequels (A Christmas Story 2, Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son, Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel), but what I wouldn’t give to see him scoring a Marvel movie.
