Keefus Ciancia is the composer of the upcoming dramatic psychological thriller Strangerland. The film is directed by Kim Farrant and stars Nicole Kidman, Joseph Fiennes, Hugo Weaving, Lisa Flanagan, Meyne Wyatt and Maddison Brown. The movie centers on a couple’s relationship, which is pushed to the brink when their two teenage kids disappear into the remote Australian desert. Fiona Seres and Michael Kinirons have written the screenplay. Naomi Wenck (Newcastle) and Macdara Kelleher (What If) are producing the Australian/Irish co-production. Ciancia’s previous scoring credits include such features as Diana, As Above, So Below, The Motel Life and TV shows including Nashville and Saving Grace. Strangerland will be world premiering in January at the Sundance Film Festival.
