A video from the scoring sessions of Tim Burton’s stop-motion animated film Frankenweenie was published this week and shows footage from the recording sessions in London earlier this year with composer Danny Elfman and Burton in attendance. Check out the video after the jump. Also embedded below is a short interview with the composer about the scoring process, his themes for the film and his collaboration with the director. Frankenweenie features the voices of Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short and Winona Ryder and follows a pet dog who is brought back to life by his loyal owner after it is struck by a car. The soundtrack featuring Elfman’s score is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, September 25 by Walt Disney Records. Click here for the full album details.
