‘Savages’ Soundtrack Details

Varese Sarabande Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for Oliver Stone’s crime drama Savages. The release features six tracks from the film’s original score composed by Adam Peters. Also included are tracks by artists such as Bob Dylan, Peter Tosh, Massive Attack, Electric Light Orchestra, Thievery Corporation, John Taverner and Gustavo Santaolalla. The soundtrack will be released on July 3, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out after the jump. Savages starring Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Uma Thurman, Emile Hirsch, Demian Bichir, Joel David Moore and John Travolta will be released nationwide on July 6.

  1. I was afraid this was going to be an all-song set; I’m glad Varese bothered to include some of the score. Now can someone please explain what’s up with Blake Lively and Benicio Del Toro’s faces? Are they trying to disgust her male/his female fans? (At least the back cover makes up for it in her case.)
