Dragon’s Domain Records has announced The Lalo Schifrin Collection, which includes four scores written the Honorary Academy Award-winning composer whose credits include Enter the Dragon, Bullit, Dirty Harry, Rush Hour & Cool Hand Luke, as well as the Mission: Impossible theme. The album features the world premiere release of Schifrin’s music from William Girdler’s 1977 horror film Day of the Animals starring Christopher George, Leslie Nielsen & Lynda Day George. Also included are the composers’ newly remastered scores (previously released by Label X) from Stuart Rosenman’s 1976 drama Voyage of the Damned (starring Faye Dunaway, Lee Grant, Oskar Werner, Max von Sydow & Malcolm McDowell), Richard Lester’s 1974 adventure sequel The Four Musketeers (starring Oliver Reed, Raquel Welch, Richard Chamberlain & Michael York) and John Sturges’ 1976 war drama The Eagle Has Landed (starring Michael Caine, Donald Sutherland & Robert Duvall).
