Premiering on Tuesday, April 30, is the FX limited series The Veil created by Steven Knight and starring Elisabeth Moss, Yumna Marwan, Josh Charles and Dali Benssalah. The show’s original music is composed by Max Richter (The LeftoversAd Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, HostilesWaltz with Bashir, Spaceman) and Jon Opstad (Bodies, Black Mirror: White Bear White ChristmasThe Woman in WhiteWe Hunt Together) . Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music on May 3. Premiering on Wednesday, May 1, is the British Disney+/Hulu original series Shardlake developed by Stephen Butchard based on C.J. Sansom’s novels and starring Arthur Hughes, Anthony Boyle,Sean Bean, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis, Babou Ceesay, Paul Kaye, Brian Vernel, Matthew Steer, Peter Firth, Miles Barrow and David Pearse. Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, The Regime, Queen of Katwe, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, State of Play, Touching the Void) has composed the show’s original music. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering on Tuesday is the anthology series The Green Veil created by Adam Rappaport and starring John Leguizamo, John Ortiz, Irene Bedard, Steven Boyer, Hani Furstenberg and Isabelle Poloner. The show’s original music is composed by Philip Glass (The Hours, The Illusionist, Notes on a ScandalKoyaanisqatsiCandyman, he Fog of War) and Paul Leonard-Morgan (LimitlessDredd, Fellow Travelers, Boston StranglerDynasty). The 8-part thriller, which centers on a government agent in the 1950s who tasked with an unraveling secret mission that threatens to expose deeper secrets, premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, and will debut exclusively on The Network.

Premiering on Thursday, May 2, is the drama Turtles All the Way Down directed by Hannah Marks and starring Isabela Merced, Cree Cicchino, Felix Mallard, J. Smith-Cameron, Judy Reyes, Maliq Johnson and Poorna Jagannathan. Ian Hultquist (Dickinson, The Walking Dead: Dead City, Assassination Nation, Rosaline, One of Us Is Lying, Night Teeth,  Good Girls) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be released this coming week. Also premiering on Thursday is the Netflix limited series A Man in Full developed by David E. Kelley based on Tom Wolfe’s novel of and starring Jeff Daniels, Tom Pelphrey, Diane Lane, Aml Ameen, Lucy Liu, William Jackson Harper, Sarah Jones, Chanté Adams and Jon Michael Hill. The show’s original music is composed by Craig DeLeon (The Last Days of Ptolemy GreyFatal Attraction,VelmaEnd of the RoadStrange Darling, Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul). Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering on Thursday is the Peacock limited series The Tattooist of Auschwitz directed by Tali Shalom-Ezer and starring Anna Próchniak, Harvey Keitel, Jonah Hauer-King, Melanie Lynskey and Jonas Nay. Hans Zimmer (The Lion KingInception, Dune, The Dark Knight) and Kara Talve (Prehistoric Planet, Faraway Downs, The Simpsons) have composed the show’s original music. Also premiering on Thursday is the British documentary The Contestant directed by Clair Titley. The film’s original music is composed by Nainita Desai (The Deepest BreathFor Sama, NautilusCrossfireThe Reason I Jump, Tales of Kenzera: ZAUThe TowerFunny Woman). The movie, which tells the true story of a Japanese reality TV star left naked in a room for more than a year who gets tasked with filling out magazine sweepstakes to earn food and clothing, premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu.
