Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action adventure Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny directed by James Mangold and starring Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones and Mads Mikkelsen. The film’s original music is composed by John Williams (Star WarsE.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List, Jaws, Jurassic Park). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Wednesday. Also opening nationwide is the animated feature Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken directed by Kirk DeMicco and starring Lana Condor, Annie Murphy, Toni Collette, Sam Richardson, Will Forte, Liza Koshy, Blue Chapman and Colman Domingo. Stephanie Economou (Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, About My Father, Jupiter’s LegacyThe Chair) has composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as two original songs by Mimi Webb and Freya Ridings today. Opening in select theaters this weekend is the documentary Every Body directed by Julie Cohen The film’s original music is composed by Amanda Yamate (Do RevengeYou Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening in select theaters is the drama Prisoner’s Daughter directed by Catherine Hardwicke and starring Kate Beckinsale, Brian Cox, Tyson Ritter and Christopher Convery. Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum (Stockholm, Pennsylvania, Regarding Susan Sontag, Bird Karma, Don’t Look Deeper, Grand-Daddy Day Care) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced yet. Also opening in select cities is the Norwegian biographical drama Munch directed by Henrik M. Dahlsbakken and starring Alfred Ekker Strande, Mattis Herman Nyquist, Anne Krigsvoll, Ola G. Furuseth, Jesper Christensen and Anders Baasmo. The film’s original music is composed by violinist/composer Tim Fain who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. Blind Bay Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last month. Opening in select U.S. theaters and on VOD today is the thriller The Man from Rome (La Piel del tambor) co-written directed by Sergio Dow and starring Richard Armitage, Paul Guilfoyle, Fionnula Flanagan, Amaia Salamanca and Franco Nero. Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, The MachinistIn the Heart of the SeaSexy Beast) has composed the film’s original music. Meliam Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the movie opened in Spain. Opening in select theaters today is the Netflix documentary Wham! directed by Chris Smith about George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley and their Wham! career. The film’s original score is composed by Tim Atack (The Invention of Lying, Don’t Look Down, The Mystery of D.B. Cooper, Reuniting the Rubins). No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie, which uses archival interviews and footage to chronicle the arc of Mochael & Ridgeley from 70s best buds to 80s pop icons, will debut next Wednesday, July 5 on Netflix.

Opening in a single theater before premiering on Netflix next Friday, July 7, is the comedy The Out-Laws directed by Tyler Spindel and starring Adam Devine, Nina Dobrev, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, Michael Rooker, Julie Hagerty, Richard Kind, Poorna Jagannathan, Lil Rel Howery and Lauren Lapkus. Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, The Legend of Tarzan, Smallfoot) has composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack release is expected.
