Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Welcome to Chippendales, Looking for Alaska, Rabbit Hole, Runaways, Queenpins) has teamed up with Garrett Gonzales (The Mysterious Benedict Society, Lioness) to score the new Amazon original series The Horror of Dolores Roach. Khosla has composed the music for the first episode and Khosla & Gonzales have co-scored the other seven episodes of the show created by Aaron Mark based on his podcast of the same name and his one-woman play, Empanada Loca and starring Justina Machado, Alejandro Hernandez, K. Todd Freeman and Kita Updike. The horror comedy drama follows the title character who – after an unjust 16-year prison sentence – returns to a gentrified Washington Heights, where she reunites with an old stoner friend, who lets her live and work as a masseuse, and is driven to shocking extremes to survive. Mark is also executive producing the Blumhouse Television, Spotify Studios and GloNation Studios production with Dara Resnik (Home Before Dark), Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jason Blum (Get Out, Halloween), Chris McCumber (The Thing About Pam), Jeremy Gold (Sharp Objects, Hells on Wheels), Chris Dickie, Dawn Ostroff (The Old Man & the Gun, Only the Brave), Mimi O’Donnell, Justin McGoldrick, Gloria Calderón Kellett (One Day at at Time, With Love), as well as Roxann Dawson (Breakthrough) who also directed the first episode. The Horror of Dolores Roach will premiere next Friday, July 7 on Prime Video.

Khosla also continues to score Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, which will return for its third season on August 8 and co-scored The CW’s Nancy Drew, which currently airs (in its fourth and final season) every Wednesday night.
