Fox Music will release a score album for the faith-based drama Breakthrough. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, Ray Donovan, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said, The Affair). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 17 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, Mercury Nashville will release a separate soundtrack featuring songs from and inspired by the movie. Breakthrough is directed by Roxann Dawson and stars Chrissy Metz, Josh Lucas, Topher Grace, Mike Colter, Sam Trammell, Marcel Ruiz and Dennis Haysbert. The movie based on Joyce Smith’s book The Impossible: The Miraculous Story of a Mother’s Faith and Her Child’s Resurrection will be released in theaters nationwide on April 17 by 20th Century Fox.
