Premiering tomorrow, March 26, is the new AMC original series The Terror created by David Kajganich based on Dan Simmons’s book of the same title and starring Jared Harris, Ciaran Hinds, Tobias Menzies, Ian Hart, Paul Ready, Adam Nagaitis and Nive Nielsen. Marcus Fjellström has composed the show’s original music before he passed away last September. Also premiering tomorrow is the HBO documentary The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling directed and executive produced by Judd Apatow about the top stand-up comic and TV star who passed away in 2016. The 2-parter’s original music is composed by Michael Andrews (Bridesmaids, NeighborsFunny PeopleFreaks and GeeksBad TeacherThe Big Sick). Premiering on Tuesday, March 27, is the ABC comedy Splitting Up Together developed by Emily Kapnek based on the Danish TV series Bedre skilt end aldrig and starring Jenna Fischer, Oliver Hudson, Bobby Lee, Lindsay Price, Olivia Keville, Van Crosby and Sander Thomas. Premiering on Friday, March 30, is the new Amazon original series The Dangerous Book for Boys developed by Greg Mottola & Bryan Cranston based on Conn & Hal Iggulden’s book of the same name and starring Gabriel Bateman, Chris Diamantopoulos, Erinn Hayes, Drew Logan Powell and Kyan Zielinski. Also premiering on Friday is the second season of the Netflix original series A Series of Unfortunate Events developed by Barry Sonnenfeld based on the book series by Lemony Snicket and starring Neil Patrick Harris, Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, Aasif Mandvi, K. Todd Freeman and Patrick Warbutton. Jim Dooley (Obsessed, When a Stranger Calls) who previously scored the Sonnenfeld-produced Pushing Daisies is the new composer of the show (James Newton Howard, Chris Bacon & Sven Faulconer scored episodes of the first season). The full second season will be available to stream on Friday on Netflix.

Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix original movie Happy Anniversary written and directed by Jared Stern and starring Noel Wells, Ben Schwartz, Annie Potts, Joe Pantoliano and Rahul Kohli. The film’s original music is composed by Joshua Moshier (Baskets). Another Netflix original movie premiering this Friday is the indie drama First Match written and directed by Olivia Newman and starring Elvire Emanuelle, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Colman Domingo, Jharrel Jerome and Jared Kemp. The film’s original score is composed by Olivier Alary (Allure) and Little Shalimar has contributed original songs. The movie follows a tenacious high school girl raised in foster homes in the inner city as she tries to reconnect with her ex-con father by joining a boys wrestling team. The drama premiered earlier this month at the SXSW Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Missing from last week’s TV music roundup was the new ABC drama Station 19 created by Stacy McKee, executive produced by Shonda Rhimes and starring Jaina Lee Ortiz, Jason George, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Alberto Frezza, Jay Hayden, Okieriete Onaodowan, Danielle Savre and Miguel Sandoval. Photek who is also scoring the Rhimes-produced ABC series How to Get Away with Murder is composing the show’s original music.
