Gabriel Mann is the composer of the upcoming CW drama Ringer. The show stars Sarah Michelle Gellar (in her first TV show since Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as a woman on the run, who assumes her twin sister’s identity, only to discover that her sister’s life is just as complicated and dangerous as the one she’s trying to escape. Nestor Carbonell (Lost), Ioann Gruffudd (Fantastic Four), Kristoffer Polaha (Mad Men) and Tara Summers (Boston Legal) are co-starring. Pam Veasey (CSI: NY), Peter Traugott (Samantha Who?) and Richard Shephard (The Matador, The Hunting Party) are executive producing the drama. Shephard also directed the project’s pilot. The CW has scheduled the show to premiere on September 13. Ringer will be airing every Tuesday night. Mann who is best known for his theme and score for the ABC hit comedy show Modern Family also is set to score the upcoming TV Land sitcom The Exes. The show stars Donald Faison (Scrubs), Kristen Johnston (3rd Rock from the Sun), Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), Alan Basche (The Starter Wife) and Kelly Stables (Two and a Half Men). Mark Reisman (Frasier) created the show about three divorced guys who live in an apartment building where their landlord is their sexy female divorce attorney. Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis (Reba) are executive producing the show alongside Reisman. The Exes is set to debut on November 30, 2011 on TV Land.

The composer is also scoring the Lifetime series The Protector which is currently airing its first season. The show revolves around a single mother who struggles to balance her family and professional life as an LAPD homicide detective. The drama stars Ally Walker (Profiler), Tisha Campbell-Martin (My Wife and Kids), Miguel Ferrer (Crossing Jordan) and Chris Payne Gilbert (10 Items or Less). Michael Nankin (Life Goes On) and Jeffrey Bell (Angel, Alias) created and developed the project. The Protector currently airs every Sunday night on Lifetime.
