‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Details
Netflix Music will release a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Takeshi Furukawa (Mythic Quest, Planet of Lana, Side Quest, The Last Guardian). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Avatar: The Last Airbender is is developed by Albert Kim based on the Nickelodeon’s animated series of the same title and stars Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, Elizabeth Yu, Miyako, Maria Zhang, Momona Tamada, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee and Daniel Dae Kim.

Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Prime Video original anime series Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Kevin Penkin (Tower of God, Eden, Star Wars: Visions: The Village Bride & The Lost Ones, Made in Abyss, The Rising of the Shield Hero). Nippon Sangoku directed by Kazuaki Terasawa is based on the manga of the same name by Ikka Matsuki. The Studio Kafka production depicts the near future of Japan, where revolution arose from nuclear war, natural disasters, and corrupt governance and follows a former agricultural officer who vows to reunify Japan.

K M Musiq has released a soundtrack album for the Arabic psychological fantasy thriller Baab. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Lagaan, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Viceroy’s House). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Music producer and DJ Ylia has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish musical drama Saturn Return (Segundo Premio). Saturn Return is co-written and directed by Isaki Lacuesta, co-directed by Pol Rodríguez and stars Daniel Ibáñez, Cristalino, Stephánie Magnin, Mafo and Chesco Ruiz. The movie, which was selected as Spain’s entry in the International Feature category for 2025’s Academy Awards, chronicles the indie rock band band Los Planetas’ origin story in the late 1990s in Granada when they were facing a crisis just before the making of an album that would transform them, and the Spanish music scene, forever.
Remastered ‘High Road to China’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1983 adventure drama High Road to China directed by Brian G. Hutton and starring Tom Selleck, Bess Armstrong, Jack Weston, Robert Morley, Wilford Brimley, Cassandra Gava and Brian Blessed. The album features the film’s newly remastered complete original score composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Barry (Dances with Wolves, Out of Africa, Goldfinger, Somewhere in Time, Body Heat, Indecent Proposal, The Man with the Golden Gun, Chaplin). The 2-CD set, which is limited to 1,500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. BSX Records has previously released an expanded soundtrack for the title back in 2010.

New Soundtrack Album for NBC’s The Monkees’ Season 1 Announced
Rhino Records will release a new soundtrack album for the 1960s TV series The Monkees created by Bob Rafelson & Bert Schneider and starring David Jones, Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith & Peter Tork. The album features the songs from the show’s first season by the titular band, including 14 rare, broadcast-exclusive TV mixes created especially for the comedy and more than two dozen songs from the season. Tracks include the theme song written by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart, the Neil Diamond-penned Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow) and Gerry Goffin and Carole King’s Take a Giant Step. Made for TV: Official Soundtrack to Season 1 of The Monkees will be released digitally on August 14 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
