While no major network shows will be premiering this coming week, NBC will air the pilot for Mockingbird Lane on Friday. The reboot of the classic CBS sitcom The Munsters is written by Bryan Fuller and directed by Bryan Singer. The one-hour special stars Jerry O’Connell as family patriarch Herman Munster, Portia de Rossi as his wife Lily and Eddie Izzard as Grandpa. Cheyenne Jackson, Mason Cook, Charity Wakefield and Beth Grant are also starring in the pilot. Jim Dooley who previously worked with Fuller on the critically acclaimed series Pushing Daisies has scored the pilot.
