While no major network shows will be premiering this coming week, NBC will air the pilot for Mockingbird Lane on Friday. The reboot of the classic CBS sitcom The Munsters is written by Bryan Fuller and directed by Bryan Singer. The one-hour special stars Jerry O’Connell as family patriarch Herman Munster, Portia de Rossi as his wife Lily and Eddie Izzard as Grandpa. Cheyenne Jackson, Mason Cook, Charity Wakefield and Beth Grant are also starring in the pilot. Jim Dooley who previously worked with Fuller on the critically acclaimed series Pushing Daisies has scored the pilot. Visit the composer’s official website to listen to the main theme of Mockingbird Lane. The one-hour special will air on Friday, October 26 on NBC.

Another show that was missing from last week’s roundup is Hunted, which just premiered on Cinemax this past Friday. The drama created by Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files) and starring Melissa George, Adam Raymer, Stephen Dillane, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Morven Christie, Lex Shrapnel, Uriel Emil, Patrick Malahide, Stephen Campbell Moore and Oscar Kennedy is scored by Ruth Barrett (Harry Brown, Toast). The eight-part series about an operative for an elite private intelligence firm who survives an attempt on her life that may have been orchestrated by members of her own team will be airing every Friday night on Cinemax. Returning shows this week include the comedies Happy Endings featuring music by Ludwig Goransson and Don’t Trust the B— in Apt. 23 scored by Craig Wedren (both premiering on October 23 on ABC).
